Mindy Gibbins-Klein

Mindy Gibbins-Klein calls herself “The Book Midwife.” Through her website of the same name, she has helped more than 3,000 achieve their goals and guided budding authors through the process of creating and marketing their books.
Her career path took a circuitous route. When Gibbins-Klein lost two good friends to epilepsy related causes, she knew very little about the condition, but she wanted to draw some good from the painful experience and find a way to help others.
She wrote and published her first book and became an accredited volunteer for the largest epilepsy charity in the UK. In 1991, she founded a consulting company to help those with important stories learn how to write and publish them, and re-formed the business 10 years later.
Her business builds on her more than 20 years of experience in sales, training and marketing. Gibbins-Klein’s clients have gone on to find success as authors on books about finance, self-help, real estate, health, professional development and a plethora of other topics.
Gibbins-Klein also writes a column for Rapport magazine and Speakeasy, the magazine of the Professional Speakers Association, and contributes to major business publications on the subject of thought leadership and how to get out a message.
